The AQ7280 satisfies a broad range of test and measurement needs in analyzing optical networks from access to core.
The AQ7280 is the most flexible OTDR in our lineup due to a modular platform to create a variety of systems from a basic unit to units with filtered ports to test live traffic networks in applications from long haul, to metro, core and FTTH.
40+ years of OTDR expertise has enabled us to offer a unique multi-tasking feature that allows four distinct fibers to be tested simultaneously. Its intuitive icon-based touchscreen lets users perform measurements with ease, and the 15-hour battery life ensures uninterrupted usage in the field where the data can be conveniently transferred wirelessly.

No special tools needed
The hardware for the OTDR units, option modules, and battery cover can be removed and put back using common work tools, even coins, to allow for quick and easy replacements and tweaks even when in the field.

The AQ2200-215 is an optical power meter designed specifically to measure high optical power up to +30dBm. It features high speed sampling and advanced data processing functions. The AQ2200-215 is an ideal measurement tool for optical output power measurement and margin test of WDM transmission equipment, as well as gain measurements of optical fiber amplifiers. It is commonly used in conjunction with other AQ2200 Series modules and the AQ6370C Optical Spectrum Analyzer to offer a flexible customized optical measurement system.
